Born in 1983. Making noise since 1990.

30+ years. Preserved.

On this page you’ll find DJ sets and original productions — a glimpse into a catalogue that spans a quarter century. More is coming.

Music found ÆD BØY early — and never let go.

It started on a ZX Spectrum. Then an Atari. Then a Pentium 166 that changed everything. By 1999, the first sequences were already running — rough, raw, and completely obsessive. No tutorials. No YouTube. Just ears, machines, and time.

Vinyl releases followed from 2004. Labels signed tracks. Distributors went bankrupt — the way they always did in those years, taking catalogs and royalties with them. The music survived anyway. It always does.

Some of those early projects hit millions of views when YouTube was still new and nobody understood what that meant. The sound travelled further than the person making it. That’s how it should be.

Through hard drives, DAT tapes, forgotten formats and moved cities — every session from 1999 to 2026 still exists. Twenty-five years of unreleased material, finished and unfinished, across techno, tech house, speed garage, deep house, and things that don’t have names yet.

The pause was intentional. Building a global business, designing flagship boutiques for the world’s most demanding brands, moving between continents — all of it required full presence. Music waited. It’s patient like that.

Now the archive is open.

Just two wheels

It must have been the mid-90s — maybe around 1995. I don’t remember exactly anymore.

Back then, this wasn’t just equipment — it was an entry point. No screens, no automation, no shortcuts. Just two wheels, a mixer, and the necessity to truly listen. You had to feel the tempo, ride the pitch, and understand the music in a physical, almost instinctive way.

To get my first records, I had to call into radio stations on a rotary analog phone, dialing over and over, hoping to get through. Sometimes there were contests hosted by local DJs — and if you were lucky, you could win techno records coming straight out of London.

That was my doorway into real, professional music.

And with those records, I sounded like a king at school discos.

That’s where it all began for me.

The return is not a comeback. It’s a continuation.

A book has been written.

A life has been designed — lived in motion, on terms that answer to no one. The right girlfriend found. The right city found. The right moment found.

Some people saved Bitcoin and sweated over hard drives full of wallets.

ÆD BØY saved everything else — every session, every idea, every sound. Thirty years of content, migrated across every format that ever existed — from floppy disks and cassette tapes to DAT, CD-R, early hard drives, external drives, and cloud storage.

Every time the world moved to a new system, the archive moved with it. Nothing was lost. Everything was kept. Because even then it was clear: this content would matter. You’re not buying a file. You’re buying a piece of a life that was actually lived — and obsessively preserved.

Architecture gives structure. Music gives everything else.

Listen carefully.
